We found all these caterpillars all over Mana's vine with leaves (Passion flower vine) and they ate ALL the leaves. Mana thought we should keep some caterpillars in jars to see what they hatched into. We took one to school too and then she looked it up on the internet. This caterpillar is called a Variegated Fritillary and it is an orange butterfly. Do you see me in the picture? This is one that just came out of the cocoon and it's wings are not dry so it just hangs around. I got to hold it for a while. When I got tired of holding it, Mana hung it up on the vine until it wanted to fly away. I'm not scared of them. At school, the butterfly hatched and we let it go outside. Mana caught another caterpillar for me and I might take it to school on Monday so we can watch that one too. The butterflies are all over the lantana bushes and butterfly bushes.
Right now, me and My Papa are doing battle. We are spinning some tops around. However's top stops first, they lose. I have the real spinner one and I gave Papa the spinning Cinderella toy. :) I'm going to win!
My teacher, Mrs. Moody taught me something really cool ~ Manners will take you where money never will. I say it to Mana and Papa often and they said that was really true. I have good manners, right?
Oh! Guess What?!! I have 12 'A's now and I get to go bowling after my soccer game next Saturday!!!
I have to do some chores now - I don't like to work, but I've been learning that's what I'm posed to have to do. Today, I had to help Mana clean up yucky dog poop all over the yard. I weared rubber gloves and used my shovel. I earned $1.00 for helping!

Saturday
Hi everybody. I didn't have school today. I went with Mana all day and we did errands. We went to take my new dog to the vet. Did you know I had a new dog???!! Papa and Mana got me one from the pound. His name is Duke and he is black and white and Lab and Springer mixed. He's a good boy. So, we taked him to the vet acause he needed shots. Then we bringed him back home and I went with Mana to her short work and got orange soda. Then, I helped Mana buy groceries and we went to CVS and then we buyed more fish. I have this cool red fish called a Mickey Mouse fish. You know why they named it that? It's because on it's tail is the Mickey Mouse head and ears. It's really cool. Mana buyed me some golden snails to eat algae. She buyed two more fish to go outside in the fish pond because the last two ones died. We don't know why. One is still living out there. So, when we got home, we were tired and then we watched Pink Panther. Papa said you might remember it - it's a old cartoon with no words. Do you?

Monday again...
Well, I got three more 'A's!! I had another vocabulary test and spelling test and got two more 'A++' so Mana says we can count that as three cause I'm doing so good! I showed them my folder as soon as I got in the car today! Now ~ I have just 6 more 'A's and I'm going bowling!!!! My friend Aaron can't come though because this is a special treat for just me and I telled Mana that it was just a family thing and he couldn't come. Aaron is coming to spend the night with me on this Friday. I might have a soccer game Saturday but my team doesn't have a coach yet. I haven't started practicing soccer yet but I can play really good. Right now, I'm sitting on the floor next to Mana coloring her this really cool picture. I am making her pretend money with her name on it. It says Mana, and $1,000,000.00! I put lots of colors all around the sides of the money. We play store all the time and restaurant where I am the waiter. My tummy isn't feeling good at all so Papa buyed me some ginger ale. I am feeling better a little bit because I asked Mana for a piece of candy and you know what she said? No! I don't know why, my tummy is feeling much better. I have to wait until after dinner and see how I feel. I already telled Papa in the car on the way home today that I wasn't going to be able to go to school until Friday because I was sick. Papa said I could only stay home if I frowed (threw) up or had a fever.
I've been trying to talk to Mana about why she needs a smart phone - it's because it talks to you. Mana said she doesn't need that kind of phone because she doesn't care if it talks to her or not. I think she needs that kind of phone so I told her I would give her a $100 because she said it was a waste of money for her to have one like that. She still said she didn't want one.
I am going to help Mana cook and then I have to do my homework with Papa. Did you know Chester (Mary's dog) went to live with Mary? Now, I play with Jenny's cat. She likes to chase bugs and chase the laser light Papa gave to me. It's funny to watch.

Cub Scouts
Me and my Papa went to a cub scout meeting last Thursday and Papa buyed me all the uniform stuff. I have cub scout meetings on Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m. My Papa is going with me to the meetings too. They said a parent has to come. My club is called Tiger Cubs. I have this cool orange and blue hat. I get to earn patches. I really like it. I get to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow too. I got this little handbook that tells me stuff to do and Mana has to sew my patches on my uniform.

So, on Friday, I have a vocabulary test, a spelling test and a math test. On the second Friday of the month, I have to write a book report (in my own handwriting), and at the end of the month, I have to do an oral report in front of my class. My vocabulary words from last week was abdomen, accelerate, abandon, absent, and absorb. I had 10 spelling words and my bonus word was Mrs. Moody (my teacher's name). I made a 'A++' on all my tests! Papa and Mana was so proud of me!! Mana telled me that when I make 12 'A's, Papa and Mana will take me bowling! I love to go bowling! I just need 9 more 'A's!!
I taked my hamster to school last Friday too! He runned in his wheel for a little while during math class - it was funny. My other friends in their classroom (room #9) got to see him too. He runned in their class too! He's so cute! You should see him. He is light colored (cream) and has fluffy hair. I like to pet him. Each day, I give him food and me and Mana put him in his ball so he can run all around the house when I get home from school. He runs in the bathroom and in my room and in the hall and sometimes he gets stuck under Mana's bed. That's pretty funny. When he's really quiet, Mana says I have to find him to make sure he didn't get out of his ball. When he gets stuck, he makes poop on the floor - they are little poops. Mana has to get the vacuum cleaner and suck it up. Then, she has to wipe the floor. I don't have to do that yet. On Saturday, we have to clean out his cage acause it gets a little stinky. We give him treats too - he likes zucchini and broccoli and sometimes a little piece of tomato.
Sometimes I eat hot lunch at school. On Friday, we have pizza at school and I LOVE cheese pizza. Next week, Papa signed me up to get ice cream everyday after lunch. We gotta see how that goes - Mana said if I eat my lunch and the ice cream, we can get ice cream again the next week. It's a really big ice cream so I'm not sure if I can eat ALL the ice cream before it's time to go. Last week, I was concerned about it and so I didn't want any last time.
We cooked marshmallows last night in the fire pit - we have GIANT marshmallows (the size of 3 of the normal ones). I love to burn mine. But sometimes, I ask Papa to just make my giant marshmallow a little bit brown - and not burned. It's really good both ways - which way do you like?
