Did you know I'm playing basketball again? I am! Tonight was my first practice. I will practice again on next Wednesday after Thanksgiving and my games start soon. There's a lot of people on my team - I think about 12.
Are you ready for Turkey Day? In my school, I'm learning about the Pilgrims and Indians. The Indians teached the Pilgrims how to plant corn. Do you know about that? You put fish in the ground and then put the corn seeds in the ground too. The fish would stink really bad, right? That's not how my Papa plants corn. Maybe he should try that - with stinky fish.
I'm going to my Gram and Granddad's house for Thanksgiving. Mana already started making pies and she made two Pumpkin Pies without me. :( I'm going to help her make a chocolate cake, and pumpkin cookies and apple pie. I'm going to help my Papa make pecan pie and cook some chickens and a big turkey in the big grease pot outside.
You know my Papa has been in Texas and I've been helping my Mana do the animal stuff. At night, we shut up the chickens. In the morning we get eggs and feed the chickens and baby chicks - but they're not so much babies anymore - they are half grown. We feed the rabbits food and give them hay. I help my Mana fill up the chicken's water too. She says I've been a big help. I wake Mana in the morning and we go down to take care of the animals together. Papa comes home tomorrow sometime, so we won't be doing it past tomorrow. I told Mana to leave the eggs for Papa to clean too, but she said she needs to help Papa and clean the eggs. Papa needs something to do when he gets home, right?
I'm doing my homework now. All I got left is to read some pages with my Mom. I'm taking a break first to eat tomato soup and a toasted cheese sandwich first before I read.
Oh, one more thing ~ I got 3 baby fish that's orange in my fish tank. Now, I have a black molly, a spotted molly, a mickey mouse fish (acause you can see the mickey head and ears near it's tail), an algae eater, and 3 orange baby fish. My two golden snails in the tank died.
